The wool absorbs 40% of it's weight without feeling wet. And because wool absorbs your body heat they are warm against your breast. The warmth is wonderful for the prevention of clogged milk ducts and aids in the production of milk.

Only two pairs are needed during the entire nursing period. When one pair feels wet, hang to dry while you wear the other pair. Wash when you feel they are getting stiff.
